Abstract:	Diplomsko delo obravnava problematiko obrata valjarne v podjetju Štore Steel d.o.o.. Osredotočili smo se na sledenje blaga, skladiščenje, prenovo infrastrukture in povezavo obrata valjarna z obratom hladne predelave. Vsi zaznani problemi so sestavni deli kompleksnega problema, v našem primeru slabe izrabe časa. Pri iskanju rešitev nismo iskali najnovejših tehnologij in postopkov, ampak smo podali praktične rešitve, ki bi podjetju povečale uspešnost. Uvedba RFID tehnologije omogoča nadzor in sledenje polizdelov in izdelkov, ki so skladiščeni po urejenem skladiščnem sistemu. S prenovo infrastrukture je pridobljen prostor, ki je potreben za skladiščenje polizdelkov in izdelkov več različnih dimenzij. Povezava med obratoma prinaša hitrejše oskrbovanje med njima in ureditev materialni tokov v obratu hladne predelave. Realizacija predlaganih rešitev podjetju prinaša dodano vrednost na področju konkurence in notranje organizacije.

Title:	RENOVATION OF PRODUCTION PROCESS OF MILL PLANT IN ŠTORE STEEL D.O.O.
Abstract:	This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the rolling mill plant in company Štore Steel d.o.o. We focused on the issue of goods tracking, warehousing, renovation of infrastructure and the connection between the rolling mill and the cold mill processing plant. All detected problems are a part of a larger, more complex problem in our case; poor use of time. In our search for a solution we did not search for new technologies or processes, but gave practical solutions that would bring the company higher success. The incorporation of RFID technology enables the control and tracking of semi products and products, which are stored in a regulated storage system. With the renovation of infrastructure we gained more space need to store semi products and finished products of various dimensions. The connection between the two plants results in a better supply arrangement between them and the material flow in the cold processing plant. The realization of suggested solutions brings the company a higher added value in terms of being more competitive and better internal organization.
