V drugem delu sem najprej predstavil Triglavski narodni park, ga umestil v prostor in prikazal njegovo zgodovino. Nato sem predstavil naravnogeografske in družbenogeografske značilnosti območja narodnega parka.

Title:Tourist potential of the Triglav National Park
Abstract:In the past, mankind has thought of nature as something that is self-evident and has never paid much attention to it. With ever greater pollution and destructiveness towards nature came an idea of keeping and preserving of nature for present and future generations. Mankind`s awareness of the importance of nature also triggered an idea about forming a national park called the Triglav National Park. It is praised for its diverse and preserved nature which has always been considered attractive and has lured visitors to this part of Slovenia. In my undergraduate thesis I presented the tourist potential of the Triglav National Park. In the first part I focused on environmental protection in general before passing over to ecological and general problems the Triglav National Park is facing. I have proceeded with the development, orientation and introduction of tourism of the Triglav National Park. In the second part I described the Triglav National Park`s geographical position and history and continued with its natural geographic and social geographic characteristics. In the third part of my thesis I presented the culturally historical potential for tourism and the Triglav National Park`s tourist offering. At the end, I analyzed the park`s tourist trade and concluded with S.W.O.T. analysis.
Keywords:Triglav National Park, environmental protection, sustainable tourism development, natural and culturally historical potential for tourism.
