Abstract:
Diplomska naloga prikazuje kako izguba paketov v prenosnem omrežju vpliva na kakovost videa. V prvem delu je opisano teoretično ozadje izbrane teme, ki omogoča lažje razumevanje nadaljevanja. Drugi del opisuje izvedbo eksperimentalnega testiranja in analizo končnih rezultatov. Celotno delo je bilo opravljeno na operacijskem sistemu Microsoft Windows. Uporabljeno je bilo programsko orodje za vrednotenje kakovosti videa EvalVid verzije 2.7.

INFLUENCE OF PACKET LOSS ON VIDEO QUALITY
Abstract:
The diploma work presents how packet loss influences video quality. Theoretical background is described in first part. It helps to understand analysis which are decribed in the second part where experiments results are presented. The work was carried out on the Microsoft Windows operating system. A tool set EvalVid version 2.7 was used for evaluation of video quality.
