Title:	OTROCI IMAJO TALENT- KJE SO NJIHOVE PRAVICE?

Abstract:	V diplomskem delu sem v ospredje postavila pojema talent ter pravice otrok. Temeljno načelo Konvencije Združenih narodov o otrokovih pravicah, kakor tudi Zakon o zakonski zvezi in družinskih razmerjih predstavljata načelo koristi otroka in nam nalagata, da je potrebno na vseh področjih, ki zadevajo otroka, posvečati posebno pozornost otrokovi koristi. Preobširnost kršitev človekovih pravic, tako pri nas kot tudi drugod po svetu, posebno kršitev otrokovih pravic je problem, kateremu bom posvetila pozornost. Skozi diplomsko nalogo bom prikazala, da kjub temu, da je bilo na področju otrokovih pravic sprejetih mnogo predpisov, tako na nacionalni, evropski kot tudi na mednarodni ravni, še vedno prihaja do njihovih kršitev. Posebno poglavje bom namenila opredelitvi pojma talent, ki prvotno ni pomenil neke psihološke posebnosti, ampak je predstavljal denarno enoto. Ta okoliščina nakazuje, da pri vprašanju talenta ne gre samo za psihološki, temveč tudi ekonomski problem. V sociologiji se pod pojmom talent vse bolj poudarja pomen socialnega kapitala, kot katalizatorja kapitala človeka, ki šele omogoča realizacijo človeškega in posredno tudi fizičnega kapitala. Na podlagi tega lahko vidimo, da se obravnavanje talenta ne sme omejevati zgolj na psihološki ravni, temveč zahteva tesno sodelovanje psihologije, sociologije in ekonomije. Ločeno poglavje bom namenila socializaciji, tako primarni kot sekundarni. V procesu socializacije se posamezniki naučijo svoje kulture, v obdobju zgodnjega otroštva je pomembnejša primarna socializacija. Ker so v zadnjem času raznovrstni šovi obnoreli svet, v katerih otroci ne izkazujejo samo svoje talente, ampak tudi zmagujejo, sem poskušala prikazati, kako lahko takšna medijska izpostavljanost vpliva na otroka. Ali imajo njihovi starši pravico, da otroka tekom odraščanja medijsko izpostavljajo, hkrati pa sem prikazala tudi različna mnenja ljudi o nastopanju otrok v javnosti. Proti koncu diplomske naloge sem se dotaknila tudi more, ki jo je Natascha Kampusch preživljala kar osem let v milosti in nemilosti svojega ugrabitelja, kakor tudi odmevnih primerov, ko se duhovniki znašajo nad svojimi učenci, ki so bili v preteklosti medijsko odmevni.

Title:	CHILDREN HAVE THE TALENT- WHAT ABOUT THEIR RIGHTS?
Abstract:	The emphasis of my thesis is the concept of the talent and children´s rights. The fundamental principle of the United Nations Convention on the rights of the child as well as the Law on conjugal union and the family relations presents the principle interest of the child, which requires from us in all matters affecting the child, to pay particular attention to the child's benefit. Because of extensive human rights violations in our country as well as in other countries around the world, I will focus primarily on children´s rights violation. Throughout the thesis I will show that despite of many legislation on children's rights, so on European as well as on international level, there is still comming to their violation of their rights. The whole chapter will be devoted to the definiton of talent. Originally it did not mean a kind of psychological characteristics, but it presented a monetary unit. This fact indicates that the issue of talent is not only psyhological but also economic problem. Under the term talent there is increasing the importance of social capital in sociology, as a human capital catalyst, which only allows the realization of human capital and indirectly the physical capital. On this basis we can see that the term talent should not be restricted only within the psychological approach, but it requires close cooperation with psychology, sociology and economics as well. Another chapter will be devoted to socialization, to primary as well as secondary socialization. With the process of socialization each individual learns his culture, where primary socialization takes important place especially during the early childhood. Nowadays there are many popular shows in which children appear and show their talents and they win at the end as well. I tried to present how media exposure affects on children and if their parens have the right to let children grow up under this media exposure. Besides this I presented different opinon on children acting in public. At the end of the thesis I touched a nightmare of Natascha Kampusch who was left for eight years at the tender mercy of her kidnapper. I mentioned as well the cases of priests' child abuse often mentioned in the media in the past.
