Še posebej so v tem primeru negativnim vplivom podvržene večje vrste prostoživečih živali, predvsem divjad. Posnetke smo pregledali in jih analizirali.

Title:ANALISYS OF ANIMAL CROSSINGS UNDER VIADUCT MRTVICA ON HIGWAY KRŠKA VAS-OBREŽJE
Abstract:Intensive road and highway construction can have significant negative impacts on the environment, which are particularly large at the time of their construction, when there is a big disturbance of natural conditions in a wide zone around the road. Especially are in this case subject to the negative impacts large species of wildlife animals, especially deer. To mitigate the negative effects of new roads and highways in the animal habitat there are special corridors for wild animals in the form of overpasses, underpasses, extending along the streams and rivers. To determine whether animals are using these transitions and where are the most appropriate locations for them, company DARS funded projects for wildlife animals monitoring through highways. The purpose of this diploma paper was to do a research on how often and which animals are most commonly using the corridor under viaduct Mrtvica on the section of highway Krška vas – Obrežje in a period of three months from 30.12.2009 to 30.3.2010. We also studied which are disturbing factors that prevent animal crossings, in which part of the day it is mostly used and whether the state of the weather and moon affects the crossing of the viaduct. For monitoring the wildlife corridors, we were using a digital video recording device that can record the migration of animals, and is composed of several subsystems. We have later reviewed and analyzed these recordings. Monitoring results indicate a certain negative impact of the highway to the local wildlife. Animals are using corridor, but we believe that the frequency of wildlife crossings under the viaduct Mrtvica on the section of highway Krška vas – Obrežje would increase, if we would limit the viaduct crossing only to the owners of local land and fishermen.
