Abstract:
V magistrski nalogi so predstavljeni in razloženi osnovni vidiki virtualizacije strežniških sistemov. Opredeljen je pojem manjšega strežniškega sistema. Na konkretnem primeru je prikazan tudi postopek prehoda iz fizičnega okolja v virtualno. Podani so stroški prehoda in izračunana ekonomska opravičenost le tega. Potrjena je delovna hipoteza, da je virtualizacija manjših strežniških sistemov upravičena pod določenimi pogoji in načini virtualizacije. Na koncu so podana tudi priporočila za vsakogar, ki bo reševal podobne probleme.

Title:
Economics of minor server virtualization systems
Abstract:
The dissertation presents and explains the basic aspects of server virtualization systems. It also defines the concept of small-server system. In this case also shows the transition from physical to virtual environments. The cost of switching and the economic justifiability are calculated. The working hypothesis that the small server virtualization is justified under certain conditions and methods of virtualization, is confirmed. Finally, recommendations are given to anyone who will deal with similar problems.
