Britanska tajna služba SOE in organizacija ISLD sta organizirali prihod prvih obveščevalcev, katerim so sledile izvidniške misije oz. skupine, sestavljene iz slovenskih padalcev.

Title:British military missions in Slovenia and the partisans in 1943-1945
Abstract:Graduation thesis describes British military missions send to Slovene partisan from 1943–1945. British secret service SOE and organisation ISLD organised the arrival of the first intelligence agents who were followed by reconnoitring missions and groups of Slovene parachutists. The first official British military mission arrived to the Slovene headquarters on June 27th 1943 under the command of Major William Jones. The mission was followed by other missions, which landed in the areas of 7th and 9th Corps and in the 4th Zone. The mission members were given military and informative assignments, their number increased in summer 1944 due to the favourable military and political conditions. Their network was extended even outside the borders of Slovene territory. At the same time the relations between the members of the missions and the partisans were becoming more and more strained and reached the zenith in the autumn 1944. OZNA kept a close eye on the mission members and the partisans restricted their movements and work, which resulted in the unsuccessful execution of their assignments. At the end of 1944 they were mostly occupied with evacuating the wounded and destroying communication systems and structures of the enemy. They were gradually leaving the Slovene territory up to the end of the world war.
