Abstract:	Brezposelnost je problem, ki zajema vsakega, ki je delovno aktiven, saj tudi tisti, ki službo ima ne ve kdaj se bo znašel na trgu dela kot brezposelni. V diplomskem delu obravnavamo problem brezposelnosti v Sloveniji v času pred gospodarsko krizo in med njo. V diplomskem delu smo najprej predstavili pojem brezposelnosti, katere vrste brezposelnosti poznamo, kako brezposelnost merimo. Predstavili smo tudi trg dela, kako je razdeljeno prebivalstvo in kako vpliva okolje na kadrovanje. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili Zavod za zaposlovanje Republike Slovenije, Območne službe Zavoda in gibanje brezposelnosti v Območnih službah ter v Republiki Sloveniji od leta 2001. Ugotovili smo, da je imela gospodarska kriza velik vpliv na brezposelnost v Sloveniji leta 2009, do leta 2008 pa je brezposelnost v Sloveniji padala. Največ brezposelnih oseb je v Območnih službah, ki ležijo na vzhodnem delu Slovenije. Diplomsko delo smo zaključili s predlogi, ki brezposelnim pomagajo, da hitreje pridejo do želene zaposlitve.

Title:	UNEMPLOYMENT IN SLOVENIA BEFORE AND DURING THE ECONOMICAL CRISIS
Abstract:	Unemployment is a problem that concers all working labour force, because even those who have a job don't know when they can find themselves on the labour market as unemployed. The diploma thesis deals with the problem of unemployment in Slovenia in time before and during the economic crisis. The first chapter of the diploma thesis presents the term unemployment, different types of unemployment, ways of measuring the unemployment, description of the labour market, how the population is divided and how the enviroment influences the human resourcing. Further on there is an introduction of the Employment service of the Republic of Slovenia and it's local divisions and also movements of the unemployment in these divisions and in Slovenia since the year 2001. We found out that the economic crisis had a large impact on the unemployment in Slovenija in the year 2009, but until the year 2008 the unemployment had been decreasing. The majority of the unemployed people were recorded in the Employment service divisions in the eastern part of Slovenia. The diploma thesis is concluded with proposals that help the unemployed to find the desired employement sooner.
