Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Značilnosti ženske zgodbe v pripovedni prozi Cirila Kosmača so bili predmet obravnave ženska v vlogi pripovedovalke zgodb in ženski liki, ki so prevzemali različne značaje, se pojavljali v različnih vlogah in so oblikovali številne zanimive ženske zgodbe in usode v danih življenjskih situacijah. Cirila Kosmača so v svojem pripovednem delu zanimali nenavadni vaški značaji, vaški posebneži t.i. norčki oziroma »otroci božji«.

Title:CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WOMAN'S STORY IN THE LITERARY PROSE OF CIRIL KOSMAČ
Abstract:The research object of this diploma thesis, entitled Characteristrics of the Woman’s Story in the Literary Prose of Ciril Kosmač, was women in the role of narrator. It focuses on the stories with the female characters that appear in different roles. These female characters have developed numerous interesting stories with destinies in given life situations. In his narrative, Ciril Kosmač was interested in the strange village character of eccentric village lunatics also called "children of God." His short stories are a memoir of a time when stigmatism of women was socially acceptable. Therefore, he presented female characters in order to highlight the small-mindedness of village communities and church regarding women with illegitimate children, the intolerance of women mental distress and lawlessness in the society of that time. With some female characters, the author expressed his longing for youth, yet with others, he exposed the violence against women in wartime. His strong orientation towards humorous female characterization was formed in details, especially with village gossipers and slanderers, in folk dialect called "babe," "čeče" and "poguznice". A special unifying role in his narratives Kosmač assigned for his mother Nanca, when he put her in the form of a narrator. In memory, he was continuously returning to her, and according to her story-telling, created his famous short story Tantadruj. The role of narrator was also assigned to his aunt Ana, namely in the short stories Očka Orel (Daddy Eagle) and Pomladni dan (Spring Day).
