Abstract:Na RTV Slovenija je zaradi njenega nacionalnega poslanstva, to je nudenja multimedijskih vsebin, preko 2500 rednih in honorarno zaposlenih delavcev. Zato so postali nezadovoljni z dosedanjo pomočjo uporabnikom.

Title:HELPDESK IMPLEMENTATION AT RTV SLOVENIJA
Abstract:At RTV Slovenia is due to its national mission to provide multimedia content over 2500 regular and part-time employees. Since nowadays almost all the work processes are supported by the use of computer technology, so we set up an information system in 2006 to support the process for managing incidents. In the last two years the emergence of new information systems offered by departments outside the internal IS department proved this one to be insufficient. Users can no longer know to whom and how they can report requests and failures. Therefore they became unsatisfied with the present way the help desk works. By analyzing the current situation we tried to determine and prove that our assumptions are correct. The study of literature with ITIL and other topics in the IT services environment, showed solutions that have to be established to upgrade the above-mentioned process which corresponds to service management. Thus, we find out that we have to include all departments that offer information services in the concept of necessary upgrades, we have to create a catalog of services and to upgrade the current information system with one designed on recommendations for the management of services. In the big picture, we must also include users and thereby demonstrate that they are an important part of the organization. This would raise again the confidence in IT departments and in the importance of the process, which is primarily intended for them.
