Potikali smo dvo-nodijske zelene in pol-olesenele potaknjence. Potaknjenci Purpusovega kosteničevja so najbolje koreninili julija do konca avgusta, ko smo dosegli nad 97 % ukoreninjenost.

Title:The influence of plant growth regulator concentration on rooting of Lonicera × purpusii Rehder. Shrubby honeysuckle in summer
Abstract:Our experiment was conducted on Lonicera × purpusii Rehder. Shrubby honeysuckle which is a hybrid between Lonicera fragrantissima and Lonicera standishii. The aim of our graduation was to examine the influence of different concentrations of indole-3-butyric acid (0.8 %, 0.3 %, 0.1 %, 0 %) plant growth regulator on rooting and the morphological characteristics of the cuttings in a greenhouse fogging system in summer. The cuttings were acquired from parent plants grown in the Botanical Garden of the University of Maribor in Pivola. We planted two-node green and half-lignified cuttings. Shrubby honeysuckle cuttings rooted best from July to the end of August when the rooting exceeded 97%. Adding auxin before planting the cuttings did not increase the number of rooted cuttings, but from the statistical point of view, it influences significantly the morphological characteristics of the rooted cuttings. The optimum concentration of the plant growth regulator depends on the cutting's degree of lignification and varies according to the planting period and the observed morphological characteristics. The obtained results show that the treatment of cuttings with a 0.1 % indole-3-butyric acid had the most positive influence both on the rooting and the morphological characteristics.
