Abstract:Sveta vojna in terorizem, pojma, ki ju mediji medsebojno povezujejo in ustvarjajo negativno mnenje med ljudstvom.

Title:Holy war and terrorism
Abstract:Holy war and terrorism, two concepts, that media interconnect and create negative opinion amongst the people. Thesis introducts concept of holy war or Jihad as it is called in the Muslim world, in principle has nothing to do with terrorism. Jihad means sacred duty for which Mujahideen are fighting, denying any violent act against innocent and civilians. Troughout history it is possible to see that terrorists are members of groups of which leaders literary brainwash most Muslims, thus concept of holy war and terrorism had become united and seen as one, which is not right. Terrorism definitely has its roots in understanding of jihad, but not in understanding of jihad as understood by most Muslims, but in the understanding of jihad as understood by group of people, leaders, who lead people into batle in order to achieve its objective, to convert as many people to Islam or even more banal excuse for war, to revenge for something. We can see in thesis, that terrorist are not only Muslims, but also Americans and other nations who are killing mothers and children on foreign soil. We simply cannot agree, that only Muslims are labeled as terorists and that all blame is on islamic fundamentalism. The man who takes his religion as a solid foundation is not guilty for all conflicts happening across the globe.
