Title:ECONOMIC-COMMERCIAL POSITION OF CHINA IN THE WORLD
Abstract:Peoples Republic of China (PRC) today is the world's second largest economy and the largest global exporter. With its role as the largest global lender, it has strengthened its position on the international market. Today we cannot imagine the global market and world's political happening without China. The surge of the Chinese economy had brought the country benefits as well as numerous risks. China is not only a large global exporter, but also a large importer. Foreign companies must transfer at least a part of their manufacturing to China to enter its market. PRC is now the largest recipient of direct foreign investment in the world. Despite that the entrance of China in the World trade organization was an important step to its integration in the world economic order; there are still a lot of significant problems appearing. China is the biggest "central" trader, when looking from the webs prospection, with the largest connections to other main global actors. After the eruption of the global economic crisis PRC has focused, with a large stimulation package, on reorienting its economy, from an export oriented growth to a more consumption based economy, and improving its infrastructure. China is facing a challenge, how to ensure sustainable growth in the future, from the social, economical, ecological and environmental view.
