Abstract:	Pravočasna in pravilna medicinska pomoč že na samem kraju nastanka življenjske ogroženosti pacienta je zelo pomembna, saj je premo sorazmerna z uspešnostjo nadaljnjega zdravljenja. Za pravilno pomoč je potrebno poleg določene opreme tudi dobro sodelovanje in predvsem znanje tistih, ki izvajajo pomoč. V diplomskem delu predstavljamo najpogostejša nujna stanja pri osebah z motnjami v telesnem in duševnem razvoju in nujne ukrepe pri teh stanjih. V raziskovalnem delu smo uporabili kvantitativno metodo raziskovanja z uporabo anketnega vprašalnika, ki smo ga razdelili med zaposlene zdravstvene delavce v Centru za usposabljanje, delo in varstvo otrok z motnjo v telesnem in duševnem razvoju (CUDV) v Črni na Koroškem. Z njo smo želeli ugotoviti pripravljenost in znanje zaposlenih zdravstvenih delavcev za ukrepanje ob nujnih stanjih, potek rednih obnavljanj znanj in pogostost nujnih stanj. Raziskavo smo izvedli v mesecu avgustu 2011 in dobili 23 vrnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da se zaposleni pogosto udeležujejo obnovitvenih tečajev in izobraževanj iz nujne medicinske pomoči, da so nujna stanja v CUDV-ju redka, da anketirani niso enotni ob ukrepanju pri manj pogostih nujnih stanjih in da si želijo še več izobraževanj na to temo. Ugotovili smo, da zaposleni zdravstveni delavci v svoje znanje niso sigurni in si obnavljanj iz temeljnih postopkov oživljanja in uporabe avtomatskega defibrilatorja želijo še pogosteje, kar pripisujemo dejstvu, da so nujna stanja v CUDV-ju redka. Zato predlagamo poleg obveznih izobraževanj iz vsebin nujne medicinske pomoči še dodatna interna obnavljanja z aktivnim poskusom na ustreznih pripomočkih. Prav tako menimo, da bi bili enotno napisani ukrepi ob nujnih stanjih v veliko pomoč izvajalcem nujne medicinske pomoči in bi zmanjšali nesigurnost in posledično tudi stres zaposlenih.

Title:	EMERGENCIES AND ACTIONS IN SUBJECTS WITH IMPAIRED PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT
Abstract:	A timely and correct medical help at the very place of the life-threatening situation of a patient is very important, because it is directly related to the success of further treatment. A good cooperation and especially the skills of those performing medical help are necessary for a correct medical help, as well as appropriate equipment. In this degree paper, the most common medical emergencies with persons, who have physical or mental disorders, and the necessary steps that have to be taken in such cases are presented. In research, a quantitatively research method was carried out, using a questionnaire that was handed out among the medical personnel at the Centre of training, work and protection of children in Crna na Koroskem with a disorder in physical or mental development. We wanted to determine the preparedness and skills of the medical personnel in medical emergencies, the course of regular skills renewals and the frequency of medical emergencies. The research was carried out in August 2011 and we received 23 questionnaires. The results have shown that the employees often take part in renewal and educational courses concerning urgent medical help, that medical emergencies at the Centre are rare, the respondents are not unanimous when it comes to less frequent emergencies, and that they would like to participate more often in educational courses on this topic. We found that the employed medical personnel are not confident regarding their knowledge and skills and would like to participate more often in skills renewal and TPO and AED courses, which is a result of the fact that medical emergencies at the Centre are rare. For this reason, we suggest obligatory NMP educational courses as well as additional internal renewal courses, involving active testing on the appropriate equipment. We also believe that uniformly written steps in medical emergencies would be of considerable help to those performing medical help and would thus decrease the insecurity and stress of the employees.
