Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili vlogo in naloge medicinske sestre pri obravnavi kroničnega ledvičnega pacienta v času pred in ob začetku zdravljenja.

Title:TEACHING A PATIENT WITH CHRONICAL KIDNEY DISEASE DURING PRE-DIALYSIS AND DIALYSIS PERIOD
Abstract:In this diploma work we introduced the role and tasks of a nurse in dealing with a patient with chronical kidney disease, before and at the beginning of haemodialysis treatment. We described the results of the research's analysis with which we wanted to determine the necessity of the education and its necessity in educating the patient about his disease and possible alternative treatment. In addition we recieved information, with the questionnaire, in which field the education needs to be improved or otherwise supplemented. In this diploma work we used descriptive and quantitative methods of work. With the help of the questionnaire we received the answers to the questions included in the questionnaire. The answers had been analysed with the help of computer softwares Microsoft Office Word 2010 and Microsoft Office Excel 2010. From the analysis it is aparent that this was the first time that the patientes have been acquainted with possible alternative treatment by a nefrology nurse. Furthermore the research concludes that the patientes have recieved adequate education and informations for an easier choice of alternative treatment, aswell as that they fell safer during dialysis treatment. The data from the research has confirmed that the nurse has informed the patients about their disease and posibilities of alternative treatment.
