Abstract:Opisane so tri najpogostejše bolezni, ki jih prenašajo klopi v Sloveniji.

Title:Epidemical and clinical characteristics of the diseases transmited by ticks in Slovenia and approach to treatment
Abstract:We have described the three most common diseases transmitted by ticks in Slovenia. These diseases include Lyme borreliosis, which is the most common disease transmitted by ticks, immediately followed by the tick-borne encephalitis and the last one described is human granulocytic ehrlichiosis. Diseases are described and presented in their epidemiological characteristics, their most common endemic areas, seasonal incidence, age and sex of most often affected. We have also described the clinical picture, each stage of the diseases, its consequences and course of diseases. When dealing with disease, we have examined the diagnostic procedures and treatments for specific diseases. The emphasis is also on the preventive measures and disease prevention, health and educational functioning of nurses in treatment and prevention. From comparison of the three diseases by epidemiological, clinical and diagnostic procedures, we find that they have many similarities, particularly diseases in epidemiological features, as well as many similarities and differences in clinical characteristics and diagnostic procedures.
