V nadaljevanju sledi navedba oblik in faz rehabilitacije.

Title:PRISON DOG TRAINING PROGRAM AS THE ELEMENT OF REHABILITATION AND FORM OF THERAPEUTIC WORK
Abstract:The diploma thesis discusses the topic of prison-based dog training programmes, which have expanded and have been successfully integrated into the system in the last 30 years around the world, but represent an entirely new domain for Slovenia, yet to be dealt with in professional literature. The author's aim is to familiarize the penological experts, or any other interested in the matter, with dog training programmes led by inmates, which have proved to be successful abroad in recent years. The theories and purpose of punishment are described first, as they are key in understanding the punishment itself. This is followed by the presentation of penalties and a list of juvenile correctional facilities and detention centres with a detailed presentation of the research participants. Chapter four, »Rehabilitacija in terapevtsko delo«, focuses on treatment ideology and sociotherapeutic orientation with two significant experiments in Logatec and Ig in the 1970s and 1980s. The continuation comprises the forms and phases of rehabilitation, with emphasis on the presentation of prison-based dog training programmes which serve as a specific form of inmate treatment. We have found that the programme has important positive psychosocial effects on inmates and can decisively contribute to a successful reintegration into society. Scarce research implies the possibility that the programme reduces recidivism rates. It is encouraging to find that the juvenile correctional facility in Logatec, the women's prison in Ig, and the Horjul Animal Shelter are willing to cooperate in the implementation and execution of the programme.
