Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo na območju južnega Pohorja kartirali opuščene kmetije, ki ležijo nad 800 m nadmorske višine. Na podlagi kvalitativnih intervjujev odprtega tipa z domačini in lastnega ogleda smo skušali opredeliti vzroke za opustitev kmetovanja. Ugotovili smo, da so na opuščanje kmetovanja vplivali okoljski in socioekonomski vzroki. Dejavnika, ki najbolj otežujeta kmetovanje in ki jih opredeljujemo kot glavna vzroka za zaraščanje, sta nadmorska višina in relief. Na podlagi primerjave razpoložljivif topografskih, katastrskih in kart rabe iz leta 1825 z ortofoto posnetki in karto rabe tal iz leta 2006, smo poskušali nakazati dinamiko obdelovalnih površin na teh kmetijah. Ugotovili smo, da je na območju južnega Pohorja 20 opuščenih kmetij. Večina kmetijskih zemljišč na opuščenih kmetijah se je že zarasla. Nekatere so še v fazi zaraščanja, predvsem zemljišča, ki mejijo na gozd in zemljišča na strmem reliefu. Zemljišča, ki so aktivna, so v najemu in jih obdelujejo drugi kmetje. Na nekaterih nekdanjih lokacijah kmetij so parcele razdeljene na več manjših parcel in na nekaterih od njih so postavljeni vikendi.

Title:	Mapping of abandoned farms in the area of South Pohorje and dynamic of the agricultural land
Abstract:	In the thesis we mapped abandoned farms in the area of South Pohorje, which lie 800 m above the sea level. Based on open-type qualitative interviews with the locals and our own tour we tried to identify the reasons for the abandonment of farming. We found out, that farm abandonment was impacted by environmental and socio-economic causes. The factors, which mostly complicate farming and which we identify as the main causes for overgrowth are the altitude and the terrain. Based on a comparison of the available topographic and cadastral maps and maps of the land usage from 1825 with orthophotos and the map of land usage from 2006 we tried to indicate the dynamics of the agricultural land on these farms. We found out that in the area of South Pohorje are 20 abandoned farms. The majority of this agricultural land of the abandoned farms is overgown. Some are still in the phase of overgowing, precisely lands adjacent to the forest and lands on steep terrain. Active lands are being leased and cultivated by other farmers. On some farm locations the parcels are divided into smaller parcels and some of them ere used for coutry cottages.
