Pridobljene podatke smo preučili in grafično prikazali.

Title:Treatment of sports injuries on the field
Abstract:In the theoretical part of the thesis we presented injuries that may occur in Muay Thai, causes for these injuries and the role of the coach in the prevention of sports injuries. We also presented treatment and approach to the injured person on the field from the layman’s perspective and from the perspective of urgent medical help. In the research part of the diploma thesis we presented the results of our research that was carried out between the members of the sports club Legion Muay Thai Maribor. We covered a group of members between 18 and 34 years of age. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of sports injuries, athletes' awareness of the possibilities of sports injuries in Muay Thai and to determine whether they have enough information on injuries and if they need additional information. Information was obtained through a questionnaire of open and closed questions that was distributed among 50 athletes who participated in the survey voluntarily and anonymously. Acquired data were examined and shown graphically. The results show that the athletes are well informed and get a lot of information about the injuries. However, according to the results, almost half of the participants in the research would probably not be able to provide first aid for certain injuries that occur on the field. These data are alarming because the athletes chose answers on the questionnaire that would cause serious complications or even death of the injured person. They believe that they are sufficiently informed about the injuries and that they have sufficient knowledge on giving first aid on the field, but still want additional information, which is a positive data.
