Abstract:Mesta se zaradi prostorskih in finančnih omejitev s težavo soočajo z vedno večjimi zastoji, naraščajočo odvisnostjo od avtomobila, upadanjem javnega potniškega prometa in pomanjkanjem parkirnih mest.
Keywords:Zastoji v prometu, evropska prometna politika, alternativni viri pogona, konceptna vozila, avtomatizirani parkirni sistemi.

Title:Public urban traffic in future
Abstract:Cities are facing problems like increasing congestion and car dependency, lack of parking spaces and declining use of public transport due to spatial and financial limitations. Which is not only a result of poor transport arrangements, but also of low car occupancy and driving manner. Cities are not the only ones longing for changes and improvements of the existing situation in urban traffic, but also the EU. The European transport policy guidelines want to establish a single sustainable transport network in Europe. Important improvements and opportunities are shown in a field of alternative fuel power, which could replace the use of fossil fuels. The automotive industry is using different car concepts to show possible directions for the future. At the same time we can see trends in the development of advanced automated parking systems with a better use of parking space. In this Master thesis we created an appropriate solution for urban traffic based on existing technology. We have tried to simplify the use for the users, while considering what is the best for the system and the environment. All this can be implemented without major changes on the existing infractructure or impact on the environment.
Keywords:Congestions, European transport policy, alternative fuel power, concept cars, automatic parking systems.
