Abstract:Dogajanje v svetu je vedno hitrejše in hitrejše.

Title:THE INFLUENCE OF HUMAN PERSONALITY ON ONE'S SENSITIVITY TO STRESS
Abstract:World events are happening faster and faster. Because of the rapid pace of our lives we must daily cope with many stressful situations. However, the susceptibility to the stress depends on each individual. While some tolerate stress easily, others have many problems dealing with it. In our diploma seminar we tried, with the help of literature, to determine how a person’s personality inflicts on its susceptibility to stress. Firstly we looked for the root causes of the stress. We found out that both physical and psychological stressors have an effect on stress. We have also presented a number of symptoms and consequences of stress and also the ways of eliminating it. Through various authors we studied types of individual personalities, their characteristics and susceptibility to stress. Among the studied authors we firstly studied Friedman and Rosenman and found that the personality split into two groups that are a type A and a type B. Secondly we studied Hippocrates and his theory of dividing personalities into four groups. Thirdly we got fully acquainted with ayurveda and its characteristics. At the end of the procedure we studied Sheldon and his distribution. We presented our observations in the conclusion at the end of the diploma seminar. Our observations and conclusions are presented at the end of the diploma seminar. We discovered that human personality does have a key role in ones susceptibility to stress.
