Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava eno izmed bolj pogostih oblik trgovine z ljudmi, konkretneje – prisilno delo in izkoriščanje delovne sile. Diplomsko delo temelji predvsem na knjigi »Trafficking for forced labour and labour exploitation in Finland, Poland and Estonia« (Jokinen idr, 2011) in je sestavljeno iz sedmih poglavij.

Title:TRAFFICKING FOR FORCED LABOUR AND LABOUR EXPLOITATION IN FINLAND, POLAND AND ESTONIA IN COMPARISON WITH SLOVENIA
Abstract:This diploma paper addresses one of the common forms of human trafficking, specifically – forced labour and labour exploitation. Though a lot of people think that this is happening only in undeveloped countries of Asia and Africa and not in the 21st century of developed European countries, this paper will show the universality of this problem and the assurance of its presence in this part of Europe. The paper is based on a book titled Trafficking for forced labour and labour exploitation in Finland, Poland and Estonia (Jokinen idr, 2011) and consists of seven chapters. In the initial two chapters I introduce goals and methods of the diploma paper and define some basic concepts. The following three chapters focus on Finland, Poland and Estonia. Within each of these chapters I present three main themes. First I focus on the situation of the particular state, that is on the definitions of forced labour and labour exploitation in connection to human trafficking, statistics, victim and perpetrator profiles, law regulation of the country and detection of this type of crime. Moreover, I focus on the problems of a specific state and how they deal with them, or, in other words, I focus on the solutions for the problems. In sixth chapter I present an analysis of the situation of the discussed countries. Firstly, I compare Finland, Poland and Estonia, by presenting what is similar, what good and what bad. Secondly, I compare all the information of Finland, Poland and Estonia with the conditions in Slovenia. I present the regulation of law in regards to human trafficking in Slovenia, show some statistic information and the actual condition in the country. This way I sum up the comparison study of the three countries and compare it to conditions in Slovenia. I end the diploma paper with a chapter of my final thoughts and the responses to the hypothesis.
