Abstract:	V diplomskem delu z naslovom Podoba zlikovca v Zvestih prijateljih Bogdana Novaka je obravnavana podoba zlikovca v vseh desetih knjigah zbirke. Zbirko umeščamo v slovensko realistično avanturistično mladinsko prozo, znotraj te pa v taborniško avanturistično prozo in otroško detektivko. Glavne literarne osebe so otroci, ki razkrivajo kraje, skrivnosti, povezane z bogastvom in raznimi nevarnostmi. Pogosto glavne literarne osebe nimajo možnosti izbire, saj so v pustolovščino potisnjene: največkrat so namreč naključne priče nezakonitega dejanja, redkeje pa želijo ohraniti dobro ime nekoga, ki so ga po krivem obdolžili takšnega dejanja. Zgradba otroških detektivk je precej šablonska: na začetku se razkrije težava, nato se glavna literarna oseba vmeša v dogajanje in s pomočjo pomočnikov razkrinka antagonista. Nezakonito dejanje je razkrito, glavni junak pa je nagrajen, saj je s svojo spretnostjo pomagal ujeti zločinca, ki ga policija že dolgo išče. Praviloma so antagonisti odrasli, otroci pa jih s svojo poštenostjo in spretnostjo premagajo. V diplomskem delu sem se osredotočil prav na podobo zlikovca. Najprej sem zapisal natančno obnovo vsebine za vsako knjigo iz zbirke, nato pa v tabeli prikazal funkcije literarnih oseb glede na 17 točk, ki jih je ob analizi knjige Bela past zastavila Dragica Haramija. Glede na prebrane knjige sem zlikovce lahko razdelil v tri skupine: v prvo sem umestil tiste knjige, kjer zlikovec ni fizična oseba, v drugo zlikovce, ki jih zaradi njihovih dejanj čaka zaporna kazen, v tretjo pa osebe, ki svoja škodljiva dejanja obžalujejo in zvestim prijateljem na koncu ponudijo roko sprave. Iz vseh treh skupin lahko sklenem, da zlikovec ali »zle okoliščine« pomembno vplivajo na dogajanje v zgodbi, saj se prav zaradi njihovih negativnih ali celo kaznivih dejanj pustolovščina šele začne.

Title:	THE VILLAIN CHARACTER IN BOGDAN NOVAK'S ZVESTI PRIJATELJI
Abstract:	The present diploma paper entitled The villain character in Bogdan Novak's Zvesti prijatelji discusses the villain character in each of the ten books of the collection. The collection belongs to Slovene realist adventure juvenile prose, more precisely to scout adventure prose and children’s detective story. The main protagonists are children who explore places, secrets connected to wealth and different dangers. Often, the main the characters haven’t got any choice, as they are pushed into adventures: in most cases they are coincidental witnesses of illegal acts; less frequently they want to maintain the good reputation of someone who has been falsely accused of such an act. The structure of children’s detective stories is fairly conventional: in the beginning the problem is revealed, then the main character gets intertwined into the development and with the help of their helpers exposes the antagonist. The illegal act is revealed, the main hero is rewarded, because through their skilfulness, they have helped to catch a villain whom the police was trying to find for a long time. The antagonists are adults; children overcome them through their honesty and skilfulness. The present diploma paper focuses on the character of the villain. First, exact summary of each story was written, followed by a table, which presents the functions of the literal characters according to the 17 points that were defined by Dragica Haramija while analysing the book Bela past. According to these criteria the villains can be placed into three groups. In the first group, there are books where the villain is not a physical person. In the second group, there are villains who are facing a prison sentence for their crimes. In the third group, there are people who regret their harmful deeds and offer truce to the loyal friends. In the end, it can be said that the villain or “evil circumstances” have a great impact on the development of the story, since their negative or even punishable deeds actually start the adventure.
