Abstract:V nalogi so predstavljeni obnovljivi in neobnovljivi viri energije s poudarkom na obnovljivih virih, predvsem fotovoltaičnih elektrarnah. Prikazali smo vrste fotovoltaičnih elektrarn, njihovo zgradbo, delovanje, načrtovanje in postavitev.

Title:OPERATING AND ECONOMICS OF FOTOVOLTAICS POWER STATIONS
Abstract:Graduation thesis introduces renewable and non-renewable sources of energy, with emphasis on photovoltaic power plants. Different types of photovoltaic power plants were presented, their structure, operation, design and installation. For purposes of design, the process of acquiring documents, financial aid and economics of operation were researched. The efficiency of variously set and inclined solar modules was also studied. For this analysis the hourly data of global solar exposure, obtained from Ravne na Koroškem weather station, were used. At the aforementioned weather station the direct and diffused solar exposures are not measured separately, so the Reindl-Helbig polynomial model was used to separate the solar exposure to these two components. When comparing monthly solar exposures for variously inclined solar modules, oriented to south, it can be seen, that it is better if the surface is less inclined (about 10°) in summer and more (about 60°) in winter. Optimal yearly inclination of solar modules is around 30°. As an example of a complete process of planning, financing, constructing and economics of operation, the MFE Hribernik photovoltaic power plant was presented. For this photovoltaic power plant the solar exposure for the year 2011 was estimated and then compared with actual electric energy that was transmitted. Percentage of transmitted electric energy according to estimated solar exposure was approximately 11%.
