Title:ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE SLOVENIAN MARKET FOR ACCOUNTING SERVICES AT A DISTANCE
Abstract:The Diploma thesis explains the theory of electronic commerce, that electronic accounting is a part of it, and that electronic commerce and electronic accounting present a technological solution enabling the provision of services at a distance. The first part of the thesis defines electronic commerce, its development, and its introduction to the business process. Moreover, we also present how to secure the data and electronic documents when conducting electronic commerce. We continue with the presentation of electronic accounting, focusing on the external provision of services where the external Service provides the accounting service to an external user. The aim of this Diploma thesis is to present remote accounting services, how they are provided and the technological solutions available to the Accounting Services in this field. Therefore, we analysed the Slovenian market of providers of technological solutions required for the conduct of accounting services at a distance, presenting their special features and options. Finally, we also conducted a small-scale interview survey among the Accounting Services. We asked which technological solution they adopted, what proportion of their clients use electronic accounting, and how satisfied these clients are.
