Današnja tehnologija omogoča nizko cenovno in preprosto izvedbo takih merilnih sistemov.

Title:DETECTING LIMBS USING CAPACITATIVE MEASUREMENTS
Abstract:The human body can be thought of as an electrode of a virtual capacitor. We consider the air between the body and the second electrode, which is included in the measuring system, to be a dielectric. By changing the distance between the body and the electrode we change the capacitance of the virtual capacitor. Modern day technology provides us with low cost and simple implementations of measuring systems. In this work we describe the process of designing sensing surfaces, their implementation and gathering and interpreting data. During the course of this work we developed two control boards, on which we tested multiple methods of measuring capacitance and evaluated the suitability of the methods for detecting limbs. We have also evaluated the suitability of this technology for measuring a stabilograph.
