Abstract:	V letu 2010 smo na UKC Pohorski dvor ugotavljali, kako šibkorastoče podlage, 'Gisela 5', 'Gisela 6', 'PHL-C' in 'Piku 1', vplivajo na količino ter maso plodov sort 'Kordia' in 'Regina'. Cilj naloge je bil ugotoviti, katera kombinacija omenjenih sort in podlag je najprimernejša za pedoklimatske razmere na UKC Pohorski dvor. Poskusni nasad je bil posajen spomladi 2006. Razdalja sajenja je bila 4 m x 2,5 m. Opravili smo tehtanje plodov na vsakem drevesu. Na podlagi 100 naključnih plodov smo izračunali njihovo povprečno maso. Na osnovi rezultatov smo prišli do ugotovitve, da je bila za sorto 'Kordia' najprimernejša podlaga 'Piku 1', najmanj pa 'Gisela 6'. Za sorto 'Regina' pa je bila najprimernejša podlaga 'Gisela 6', najmanj pa podlaga 'PHL-C'. Podlaga 'Gisela 5' je pri obeh sortah pokazala najnižjo povprečno maso plodov.

Title:	The Effect of Four Dwarf Rootstocks on the Growth and Yield of the Sweet Cherry Varieties (Prunus avium L.) 'Kordia' and 'Regina' in the Year 2010
Abstract:	At the UKC Pohorski dvor in the year 2010, we tried to determine how the dwarf rootstocks 'Gisela 5', 'Gisela 6', 'PHL-C' and 'Piku 1' affect the varieties 'Kordia' and 'Regina' in terms of fruit quantity and mass. The goal of the thesis was to asses, which combination of the previously mentioned varieties and rootstocks is best suited for the pedoclimatic conditions at the UKC Pohorski dvor. The trial plantation was planted in the spring of the year 2006. The planting distance was 4 m x 2,5 m. We weighed the fruit of every tree. On the basis of 100 randomly selected fruits we calculated the average mass. The acquired results showed that the most suitable rootstock for the variety 'Kordia' was 'Piku 1', the least suitable was 'Gisela 6'. The most appropriate rootstock for the variety 'Regina', on the other hand, was 'Gisela 6', the least appropriate was 'PHL-C'. The rootstock, which gave the lowest average mass of fruit, was 'Gisela 5'.
