Title:THE ANALYSIS OF JAPANESE BUSINESS CULTURE
Abstract:Business in international markets is changing increasingly with globalization. In the part of the thesis, I define the culture and describe its major components and characteristics. I realized that must the businessman, who works on the international market, be very well prepared and familiar with cultural differences in order to avoid unnecessary mistakes and failures. I think we have to know, when dealing with business partners, who come from other cultures to know how their business environment is working. When doing business with foreign business partners, we have to be sufficiently prepared. The preparations also include the knowledge of the characteristics and culture of its members. We have to know who is making the decisions, on what we should notice in making contacts with members of other cultures and how hierarchy in society and business environment is organized. This helps us easier to understand who is making the decisions and what is the motive of an individual for the business. For a successful communication with business partners, we need to know whether or communicate in high or low context, what is their relation with language or is it skilled to communicate in English or do we need a translator. As a future business woman, I was interested in the role of women in foreign cultures and whether the members of this culture are used to deal with a woman. Based on the findings I want to stress to what should be vigilant when talking business with Japanese businessmen to make it a pleasant, positive, and without unnecessary complications and subsequent conflicts.
