Title:PRISOTNOST OTROKOVE IGRE V MESTNEM IN PODEŽELSKEM VRTCU

Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Prisotnost otrokove igre v mestnem in podeželskem vrtcu je v teoretičnem delu uvodoma predstavljeno, kaj igra sploh je, nato so predstavljene vrste iger glede na vsebino in socialno udeležbo. Podrobneje je predstavljeno tudi, kako na otrokovo igro vpliva spol otrok, kakšen pomen ima igra za otroka in kakšno vlogo imajo pri tem odrasli, sovrstniki in predmeti. Empirični del diplomske naloge temelji na raziskavi v mestnih in podeželskih vrtcih. Z anketiranjem vzgojiteljic smo zbrali podatke o pogostosti različnih vrst igre v mestnem in podeželskem vrtcu, o pogostosti otrokove igre v naravnem okolju, o oceni otrokove igre nasploh in specifično v zunanjem okolju in o oceni razlik o prisotnosti otrokove igre med dečki in deklicami. Ugotovitve kažejo, da so vse vzgojiteljice tako mestnih kot podeželskih vrtcev mnenja, da je igra pomembna za otrokov razvoj, prav tako pa vse menijo tudi, da je igra v zunanjem okolju za otroka zelo pomembna. Do manjših procentualnih razlik pa prihaja v pogostosti pojavljanja otrokove igre glede na okolje, starost in spol otrok.

Title:THE PRESENCE OF CHILDREN'S PLAY IN THE CITY AND RURAL KINDERGARTENS
Abstract:The diploma paper titled The Presence of Children’s Play in City and Rural Kindergartens consists of the theoretical and empirical parts. In the introduction of the theoretical part, the definition of play is established and the types of play, according to its contents and social participation, are presented. There is a detailed study of the influence of children’s gender on children’s play, the importance of play for children and the role of adults, peers and objects. The empirical part is based on the research carried out in the city and rural kindergartens. The data were collected by interviewing the preschool teachers about the play types in the city and rural kindergartens, the frequency of children’s play in the natural environment, the evaluation of children’s play in general and outdoor play specifically and the differences in play presence level between boys and girls. The research findings show all the preschool teachers in the city and rural kindergartens share the opinion that play has a great effect on children’s personal development. They also believe the outdoor play is very important for children. There are, however, some differences in play presence level considering children’s environment, age and gender.
