Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava pacientko po amputaciji spodnjega uda.

Information was obtained by interview with the patient and their family, patient observation, and review of medical and nursing documentation. We found out that it is necessary that the home care nurse involves in the early rehabilitation, because patients and their relatives did not know all the necessary activities for the prevention of complications following lower limb amputation, as well as being experienced nursing problems that before the amputation was not known: risk of falls, risk of infection, due to the stump wounds, risk of failure of physical activity, reduced ability for independent personal hygiene, and fear of failure rehabilitation.
