Abstract:
Pričujojče diplomsko delo obravnava umeščanje muzeja v industrijsko cono Tezno z namenom bogatitve kulturne ponudbe mesta Maribor. Podan je splošen opis nekdanje Tovarne avtomobilov Maribor in današnje industrijske cone Tezno ter v prihodnost usmerjen scenarij prostorskega razvoja mesta. V nadaljevanju je predstavljen zgodovinski razvoj Tovarne avtomobilov Maribor in projekti revitalizacije industrijske cone Tezno, med katere sodi tudi umeščanje muzeja. Podan je pregled referenčnih primerov muzeja kot izhodišče za programsko zasnovo. Diplomsko delo zaokrožuje urbanistično – arhitekturna zasnova muzeja v industrijski coni Tezno.

MUSEUM OF „AUTOMOBILISITC INDUSTRY MARIBOR“
Abstract:
The diploma paper focuses on the placing of a museum into industrial zone Tezno with the purpose of enhancing cultural offer in the town of Maribor. A general description of the former Automobilistic Industry Maribor, today's Industrial Zone Tezno and the related future-oriented scenario of spatial developement of Maribor is provided in the introduction, which is followed by a presentation of historical developement of Automobilistic Industry Maribor and other revitalisation projects of Industrial Zone Tezno. A case study on museums, which has served as a base for the outline programme of the Museum of Automobilistic Industry Maribor, is presented in the following part. The paper concludes with an urban planing-related and architectural design of the Museum of Automobilistic Industry Maribor.
