Title:PROFESIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATION TEACHERS
Abstract:Professional development of pre- school teachers must be result-oriented, focused on a pre- school teacher's daily work and should be standards based. The recognition of the importance of professional development as a factor that contributes to the children's goal achievement and it's focus on results are reflected in what kind of results or changes are to be achieved, and what knowledge or skills used by a pre- school teachers should be developed to help children obtain set goals, and what kind of professional learning will support the achievement of systemic goals. The study shows the beginnings of personal- professional development certainly go back to the time of the pre- school teacher's studies is. When and if someone promoted to a higher level depends both on the personality, as well as on academic and professional experience and the environment of the kindergarten. The purpose of the research was to determine, how experienced pre- school teachers enter the profession, which problems they are mostly faced, what their knowledge is like at the beginning of their career and how they care for their professional growth and what worries them at the beginning of their career. Pre- school teacher's professional development is a lifelong learning process in which experiential learning also plays an important role. Thus, a pre- school teachers learns while recognizing challenges (which may be wider, narrower or context related to particular educational activity) and conscious reflective searching for relevant answers. Life challenges can stimulate the development of individuals, which depends on how the individual will respond to there challenges and how he or she will process these.
