Abstract:V diplomskem delu so prikazane značilnosti govora vasi Zagojiči na štirih ravninah, in sicer na glasoslovni, oblikoslovni, skladenjski in besedoslovni. S pomočjo Vprašalnice za slovenski lingvistični atlas in prostega govora dveh informatork, ki že vse življenje živita v Zagojičih, sem zbrala dovolj gradiva za raziskovanje in ugotavljanje značilnosti govora. Stavki so večinoma dvodelni. Pogosto imajo okrnjeno zgradbo, saj gre za nezapisan govor, kjer se govorec načeloma vnaprej ne pripravi. Besedni red je poseben predvsem pri zanikanju. Tvorba priredij in podredij je takšna kot v knjižnem jeziku, razlikuje se le po posameznih vezniških besedah. Besedje zagojiškega govora je predvsem slovansko. Med prevzetimi besedami prevladujejo germanizmi, pojavljajo se tudi romanizmi.

Title:SPEECH IN ZAGOJIČI
Abstract:The following diploma thesis depicts the features of Zagojiči speech (a small village in Northeastern Slovenia) in four linguistic categories, i.e. fonology, morphology, syntax and lexicology. By using A Questionnaire for Slovene Linguistic Atlas and by collecting free speech of two consultants who have lived in Zagojiči all their lives, sufficient material was collected to conduct the research and determine the speech features. Initially, the material was recorded and transcribed phonetically. A careful study of different linguistic categories was then conducted. The Zagojiči speech is part of the Prlekian dialect which itself falls into the Pannonian Plain dialect cluster. Its characteristisc are a single-vowel system, comprising of long, short and unstressed vowels. Short vowels can be found in places where they would not occur in Standard Slovene. The stress is dynamic. Morphologically, it keeps three genders as well as three grammatical numbers, with a prevailing inflections of the non-shift stress type, participles normally ending in -l end in -a, the past perfect aspect is unknown. Sentences mostly consist of two parts. Often, they are contracted, as the speech is impromptu, a non-recored form. Negative forms have a special word order. Co-ordinate and sub-ordinate clauses are identical to Standard Slovene, with the exception of a few linking words. The vocabulary of this dialect is Slavonic, the borrowings are predominantly Germanic, with a few Romanic ones.
