Title:PERFORMANCE OF NEUROMUSCULAR TAPING IN THE WORK PLACE - FOR SITTING POSE
Abstract:Work is becoming more and more sedentary, which consequently leads to a new form of forced posture and related disorders. This has a negative impact on the productivity of the worker. Therefore, we decided to analyze the newly developed technology called neuromuscular taping, in order to determine the effectiveness of the technique on the body of the worker who was exposed to several years of seated work. Through the survey, we used the cabinet and the fieldwork research. We chose 30 volunteers who had to meet certain criteria; they had to perform sedentary work and needed to have some form of pain present. Data was collected through an online survey, which was posted on a private website and could only be accessed by the research participants. The survey consists of four parts: the state of the application, the state immediately after the application, the state after three days of wearing the tapes and the state after the removal of the applications. Then we made a comparison between the states and found the results to be positive. The pain was visibly reduced, some even disappeared. With neuromuscular taping we managed to facilitate the pain for some of the volunteers. Based on the results we can conclude that their work performance was more productive. We must realize, that the workers productivity is largely related to his welfare and health. For this reason we need to ensure that the health of the worker is carefully protected.
