Abstract:	Literarno delo sodobnih koroških prozaistk (objave po letu 1980) obsega tista dela, ki so bila objavljena v knjižni obliki, in sicer od leta 1980 do danes. Namen diplomske naloge je bil predstaviti koroške prozaistke osemdesetih let v Sloveniji (avtorice se rodijo na Koroškem, a jih večina ne živi več na tem območju) in njihova literarna dela, za katera se je predpostavljalo, da so kvalitetna in vredna tovrstne obravnave. Avtorice, ki so bile umeščene v diplomsko delo, so sledeče: Cvetka Bevc, Silvija Borovnik, Ivanka Hergold, Aleksandra Kocmut, Majda Pajer, Ana Marija Pušnik, Barbara Simoniti in Barica Smole. Menili smo, da v sodobni literarno-zgodovinski zavesti niso dovolj prisotne. Njihovi literarni teksti so kronološko razvrščeni po letnicah izida in nato na osnovi literarne teorije analizirani. Obravnavani so romani in zbirke kratke proze oziroma novel. Pregledani so bili tudi odzivi na literarna dela. Zaradi obrobja koroške regije in pomanjkanja literarnih krogov na tem območju, nekatera dela ostanejo manj opažena. Menimo tudi, da se splošna kriza družbe kaže prav tako pri kulturi in ožje v sprejemanju te literature. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da literarna dela sodobnih koroških prozaistk lahko umestimo v književnost ženskih literarnih ustvarjalk na podlagi značilnosti, ki jih prinašajo s svojo t. i. žensko pisavo. Skupni imenovalec literarnih del sodobnih koroških prozaistk po letu 1980 je, da se obračajo stran od političnih in nacionalnih tem ter dajejo poudarek malemu človeku in njegovi intimi. Večinoma so to ženske, ki se posvečajo iskanju lastne identitete.

Title:	LITERARY WORK BY CONTEMPORARY CARINTHIAN (SLOVENIA) FEMALE PROSAISTS (PUBLICATIONS AFTER 1980)
Abstract:	Literary work by contemporary Carinthian (Slovenia) female prosaists (publications after 1980) covers compositions that were published in literary form from the 1980s onward. The intention of this diploma thesis was to introduce Carinthian prosaists of the 80s in Slovenia (authors were born in Carinthia; however, most of them do not live in this area anymore) and their literary work, which has been assumed to be of good quality and worthy of these sort of discussion. Authors who are discussed in the diploma thesis are: Cvetka Bevc, Silvija Borovnik, Ivanka Hergold, Aleksandra Kocmut, Majda Pajer, Ana Marija Pušnik, Barbara Simoniti and Barica Smole. It is our opinion that they are not given enough credit for their literary-historical achievements. Their literary work was arranged chronologically according to the year of publication and then analyzed on the basis of literary theory. The diploma thesis discussed novels as well as collections of prose works or novellas. Furthermore, responses concerning their literary work were also included. Due to Carinthia's marginality and lack of literary circles in this region, some works tend to go unnoticed. We also believe that the general crisis of society is seen in the culture and the strict adoption of this literature as well. Findings showed that literary work of contemporary Carinthian prosaists, based on the features of their so-called female writing, can be placed into the field of literature dealing with female authors. Contemporary Carinthian prosaists from the 1980s onward tend to neglect the political and national subjects and put more emphasis on the common person and their intimate mood. Protagonists are mostly women who devote themselves to finding their own identity.
