Title:Up za zdravje, brez kronično nenalezljivih bolezni

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili kronično nenalezljive bolezni in pomen zdravstveno vzgojnega dela medicinskih sester z otroci, njihovimi starši in učitelji. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti osveščenost staršev šolskih otrok o kronično nenalezljivih boleznih in njihovi preventivi. Metodologija raziskovanja. Raziskava je temeljila na kvantitativni metodologiji. Podatke smo pridobili s pomočjo delno strukturiranega anketnega vprašalnika, ki je vseboval 15 vprašanj zaprtega in odprtega tipa. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal starše osnovnošolcev dveh osnovnih šol od prvega do tretjega razreda. Rezultati raziskave. Ugotovili smo, da starši osnovnošolcev poznajo kronično nenalezljive bolezni, vendar je njihovo poznavanje teh bolezni odvisno od stopnje izobrazbe. Ocenjujejo, da je zdrav način življenja lahko preventiva bolezni, zato so pogosto vzgled svojim otrokom z zdravim načinom življenja. Velik odstotek (81 %) staršev obeh šol bi se udeležil izobraževanja na temo kronično nenalezljivih bolezni. Razprava in sklep. Iz raziskave je razvidno, da so starši osveščeni o kronično nenalezljivih boleznih in njihovi preventivi. Starši šolskih otrok imajo največjo vlogo v življenju svojih otrok, saj z njihovim znanjem, vedenjskim vzorcem, toplino in razumevanjem lahko pripomorejo k bolj zdravim generacijam otrok. Ob tem pa potrebujejo kakovostno strokovno podporo predvsem medicinskih sester in tudi šole. Menimo, da je najpomembnejša preventiva pred kronično nenalezljivimi boleznimi in pri tem je kakovostno zdravstveno-vzgojno delo medicinskih sester vzajemno z otroki, starši in učitelji lahko odločilno pri preprečevanju kronično nenalezljivih bolezni vseh otrok in kasneje odraslih ljudi.

Title:Hope for health, without cronic noncommunicable diseases
Abstract:This thesis presents a chronic noncomunicable diseases and importance of health educational work of nurses with children, their parents and teachers. The purpose of this research was to determine the awareness of parents of elementary school children about chronic non - comunicable diseases and how to prevent them. The methodology of research. Research is based on quantitative methodology. Facts were obtained by partially structured survey questionnaire, which contained 15 issues of opened and closed type. The research sample covered parents of elementary school children of two elementary schools from first to the third class. Results of the research. It was established that parents of elementary school children are familiar with chronic noncomunicable diseases, however their knowledge of those diseases depends on the level of their education. However, they rated that a healthy life style can prevent the diseases. Therefore parents are often an example to their children by living a healthy lifestyle. A high percentage (81 %) of parents of both schools to attend education about chronic noncomunicable diseases. Discussion and conclusion. From the research it is evident that parents are aware of the chronic noncomunicable diseases and how to prevent them. Parents of elementary school children play the biggest part in life of their children because they can aid to healthier generations of children with their knowledge, their behavioural pattern, their love and understanding. At the same time parents need a quality professional support, especially from nurses and schools. We believe that it’s most important prevention against chronic non – communicable diseases and this is quality health-education work of nurses mutual with children, parents and theacher can be crucial in the prevention of chronic noncomunicable diseases all children and later adults people.
