Title:	Interoperabilnost železniških tirnih vozil v vseevropskem železniškem sistemu

Abstract:	V Evropski uniji (EU) so koncem prejšnjega tisočletja začeli razmišljati o poenotenem sistemu vseevropskega železniškega omrežja, kateri bo grajen po enotnih standardih in po katerih bodo vozila železniška tirna vozila enakih karakteristik. V ta namen so se zapisale Direktive EU, katere so članice EU morale implementirati v nacionalno zakonodajo. Prav tako so se začele izdelovati poenotene tehnične specifikacije interoperabilnosti za posamezne podsisteme, kateri sodelujejo v vseevropskem železniškem sistemu. V naši nalogi smo se osredotočili na podsistem železniških tirnih vozil in na zahteve EU, katere se direktno tičejo tirnih vozil. Predstavili smo udeležence v železniškem prometu, ter raziskali vire najpogostejših napak in odstavitev tirnih vozilih, kateri povzročajo stroške, zamude in posledično ogrožajo varnost v železniškem prometu. Na osnovi zastavljenih ciljev in hipotez smo glede na pridobljene rezultate raziskave podali glavne ugotovitve, ter dokazali, da je trenutna nacionalna in EU zakonodaja zadostna. Prav tako smo podali nekaj predlogov za izboljšavo interoperabilnosti železniških tirnih vozil v vseevropskem železniškem prometu.

Title:	Interoperability of railway rolling stocks of the transeuropean rail system
Abstract:	At the end of the last millennium people in the European Union (EU) started thinking about theHarmonized System of the Trans-European rail network, which will be built according to uniform standards and on which the railway rolling stocks of the same characteristics will drive. To this purpose they wrote the EU Directives, which the EU members had to implement into national law. They also began preparing a unified technical specification for interoperability of individual subsystems, which participate in the trans-European rail system. In our study we focus on the subsystem of railway rolling stocks and to EU requirements, which directly refer to rail vehicles. We presented the participants in the rail transport and explore the most common sources of defects and removal of railway rolling stocks, which generate costs, delays and are the consequent threat to railway transport safety. The main findings based on the objectives and hypotheses which derived according to the results of the survey, have presented and demonstrated that the current national and EU legislation is sufficient. We have also made some suggestions for improving the interoperability of railway rolling stock on the trans-European rail system.
