Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo predstavili smučarsko reševalno službo, in sicer njihovo organiziranost, opremljenost, izobraževanja in sodelovanje z drugimi službami, ki sodelujejo oziroma pomagajo pri reševanju poškodovancev na smučišču Golte. Obravnavali smo poškodbe na smučišču Golte v smučarski sezoni 2011/12. Analizirali smo 69 poškodb in 72 poškodovancev. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo s študijem literature za področje nujne medicinske pomoči in reševanja ponesrečencev na terenu in retrospektivno metodo (študija izpolnjenih protokolov poškodb na smučišču). Podatke smo analizirali (grafi).

Title:Ski patrol
Abstract:In our thesis we represented ski rescue service. We represented how they are organised, equipped, and educated. We also represented their cooperation with other ski rescue services that are also included in rescuing injured skiers on slopes at Golte ski resort. We addressed the injuries that happened on the slopes in season 2011 / 2012. We analyses 69 injuries and 72 injured people. We used the descriptive method along with help of appropriate literature for NMP area and rescuing injured people on the field. We also used retrospective method (the study of carried out protocols of injures on the slopes). The data was analysed (graphs). In season 2011 / 2012 72 people were injured on slopes at Golte ski resort, 43 (59,72%) men and 29 (40,28%) women. There were 5 (6,94%) injured people up to 6 years old, 29 (40,28%) between the ages of 6 and 18, 11 ( 15,28%) between the ages of 18 and 30, 21 (29,17%) between the ages of 30 and 60 and 6 (8,33%) over 60 years old. 45 (65, 22%) injuries occurred during the weekends, vacations or holidays. 24 (34, 78%) injuries occurred during the week. On the slope Medvedjak 14 (20, 29%) injuries occurred, on the slope Družinska 19 (27, 54%), on the slope Turist 3 (4, 35%), on the slope Stari Stani 11 (15, 94%), on the slope Blatnik 12 (17, 39%) and on the slope Ročka 3 (4, 35%). There were also 6 (8, 7%) injuries outside ski area and 1 (1, 45%) injury on some other area at Golte ski resort. Of the 84 injuries there were 18 (21,43%) head injuries, 20 (23,81%) upper body injuries, 2 (2,38%) trunk injuries, 5 (5,95%) spine injuries, 32 (38,10%) lower body injuries and 7 (8,33%) other injuries. The results show that almost 60% of injured people were men and that more than 65% of injuries occurred during the weekends, vacations or holidays. Despite poor legal provisions the ski rescue service is well organised and equipped, therefore acknowledging head of staff, Mister Ernest Kovač, head of doctors Bojan Leskovšek and head of rescuers Damijan Ločičnik, who all tend to good organisation and knowledge of the rescuers. We established that in 45 (65, 22%) cases the doctor was present and that in 14 (20, 29%) cases the unit NMP Mozirje was activated. We also established that the time of transfer of the injured from the slopes to the NMP Mozirje is too long, as the accessibility to the slopes is possible only by cable railway, which takes approximately 8 minutes or by road, which takes approximately 20 minutes. There were also some imperfections in HNMP service in Slovenia as there is only one helicopter with constant medical team available for the entire Slovenia. Therefore an educated and fully equipped ski rescue service is always needed on the slopes along with medical doctor.
