Abstract:V diplomski nalogi bomo proučevali problematiko reprezentacij poklicev v slovenskih televizijskih humorističnih serijah. V nadaljevanju bomo predstavili izbrane in analizirane popularne slovenske televizijske serije (TV Dober dan, Naša mala klinika, Moji, tvoji, najini).

In the introduction we will present definitions of professions and how they are classified considering the Standard classification of prpfessions. We will present different definitions of stereotyps and which stereotyps are most often present in the mass media. We will focus on the stereotyps connected with gender and ethnicity. We will point out which personal characteristics are connected with differnt professions. We will present also the definition of what a television sitcom is. Further we will introduce the chosen and analysed, popular Slovene sitcoms (TV Dober dan, Naša mala klinika, Moji, tvoji, najini). Follow the results of the qualitative analyse of the selected sitcoms where will be mostly pointed out which professions and why are still devided on »typically women« and »typically men« jobs.
