Abstract:	Trg dela v Sloveniji doživlja izrazite spremembe v zadnjih nekaj letih. Vedno večja stopnja brezposelnosti je evidentirana, dosti ljudi obupano išče delo, vendar ga ne najde. Povpraševanje po delu je trenutno dosti večje kot ponudba dela sama. Težave preživetja nastopajo pri vseh starostnih skupinah - izrazito se kažejo pri upokojencih, ki živijo v stiski in pri mladih, ki ne najdejo zaposlitve in zato ostajajo doma pri starših, namesto da bi se osamosvojili. Trenutno stanje na trgu dela v Sloveniji evidentira skoraj 120 tisoč brezposelnih, kar je največ do sedaj. Čeprav je stalna zaposlitev v Sloveniji še vedno prevladujoča oblika zaposlitve, pa se vedno več delodajalcev danes odloča za zaposlitev za določen čas ali pa sodelujejo s fizičnimi osebami preko pogodb. Kar pomeni, da tudi tisti ki so zaposleni, nimajo vsi zagotovljenega dela v prihodnosti. Veliko delodajalcev zaradi recesije dodatno obremenjuje zaposlene, nekaterim pa trenutno stanje pride prav za izkoriščanje svojih delavcev, ki pristanejo na marsikaj samo da ne bi izgubili zaposlitve. Takšno stanje rojeva splošno nezadovoljstvo in razočaranje. V tem diplomskem seminarju sem se osredotočala predvsem na mlade, ki končujejo izobraževanje in se srečujejo z iskanjem prve zaposlitve. Težave s katerimi se soočajo tekom prehoda iz izobraževanja v zaposlitev lahko sedaj obširneje razumemo. Nacionalni podatki prikazujejo, da mladi spadajo v socialno skupino, ki je najbolj prikrajšana na trgu dela v Sloveniji. Sestavljajo precejšen del brezposelnih in se pogosto zaposlujejo na tistih delovnih mestih, ki jim ne ustrezajo glede na njihove izobrazbene dosežke. V zadnjem delu diplomskega seminarja so navedene informacije in nasveti vsem mladim, ki zaključujejo izobraževanje, kako se pripraviti na lov za svojo prvo zaposlitvijo.

Title:	LABOR MARKET AND FIRST JOB SEARCH IN REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA
Abstract:	Labour market in Slovenia is experiencing drastic changes in the last couple of years. Evidently there is quite a lot of people looking for a job, but they can not seem to find it. Therefore we witness a raising unemployement rate. Labour demand is now far higher than labour supply. All age groups experience difficulties surviving at this time. The situation is well known among retirees, who live with barely minimum income and young people, who can not find a job and therefore still live at home with their parents instead of being financialy independent. Currently there are about 120 thousand unemployed in the slovenian labour market, which has reached the very peak so far. Although the most common employement in Slovenia is permanent, there are more and more employers nowadays who only offer a limited time employement or they operate only with contractors. Which tells us that even employees who are imployed do not have a guarantee that they will keep the job in the future. Many employers in the recession time put an extra burden on their employees and some of them even go so far as to use this sensitive time for exploitation of their own employees, who are willing to agree on whatever, just so they do not lose their job. These recession times cause common discontent and disappointment. During this thesis I have focused mostly on young people, who have just finished their education and are facing with their first job search. We can understand problems, that they are facing during the transition from education to work, widely now. National data is showing that young people fall into a social group who is most underprivileged in the slovenian labour market. They represent a quite large portion of the unemployed and they frequently racruit to jobs that do not meet their educational achievements. In the last part of my thesis I have referred information and advice to all young people who are finishing their education and are trying to get ready for their first job hunt.
