Abstract:V letu 2010 smo v čredi krav na gorski kmetiji ugotavljali vpliv sestave poletnega in zimskega obroka, s katerim so bile krave krmljene, na kakovost mleka.

Title:The influence of the composition of feed of dairy cows on the ratio of fat to protein in milk
Abstract:The aim of the study was to find out the influence of the composition of summer and winter feed of dairy cows on the quality of cow milk. The research took place on a mountain farm in 2010. The present thesis objective was to determine the core nutrients supply in the feed of dairy cows, according to the quality of milk, proven by the analysis of the milk at the farm. The analysis both of the winter and the summer feed has proven a deficiency of degradable proteins which are necessary for the microbial protein synthesis in the rumen and the digestibility of feed. The ratio of fat to protein (F/P) in milk was relatively changeable, although the constant ratio values are preferable. In the summer feed the ratio was between 1.2 and 1.3, but in the months of autumn it has fallen under 1.1. Fat content was decreased below 4 % due to the grassland pasture and has been very diverse in the summer period. The protein content was low as well - below the 3.2 %, due to the fact it is more difficult to provide sufficient energy source in the summer feed. In the winter period, the ratio values of F/P were between 1.1 and 1.35. Fat was ranging between 4 and 4.5 %, which is suggesting sufficient fibre content in the feed. The protein content has been in decline after January result of 3.56 %, due to the insufficient energy supply, needed for the synthesis of microbial protein in the rumen.
