Title:BEVKOVE PESMI MED REVIALNO OBJAVO, SAMOSTOJNO PESNIŠKO ZBIRKO IN IZBRANIMI SPISI

Abstract:Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na Bevkovo pesništvo. Gre za pesmi, ki so izhajale v reviji Dom in svet med letoma1910 in 1920 in ki so leta 1921 izšle v samostojni pesniški zbirki z naslovom Pesmi. V petdesetih letih 20. stoletja pa so Bevkove pesmi izšle še v Izbranih spisih, v katerih so poleg pesmi iz pesniške zbirke Pesmi še krajši prozni sestavki, zamejeni z letnicama 1911 in 1927. Iz primerjave različnih objav del v samostojni pesniški zbirki Pesmi in v kritični izdaji v Izbranih spisih je moč opaziti, da je Bevk po preteku tridesetih let, kolikor je razlike med obema objavama, nekatere svoje pesmi popravljal in spreminjal. Če pa vzamemo v pregled še pesmi iz zbirke Pesmi, ki so pred knjižno izdajo izhajale v reviji Dom in svet, opazimo, da je Bevk nekatere pesmi modificiral celo dvakrat. Nekatere pesmi imajo tako tri različice: revialno, tisto iz pesniške zbirke in tretjo v Izbranih spisih.V prvem delu naloge je predstavljen France Bevk kot pesnik in pisatelj. Na začetku je na kratko povzeto njegovo pesništvo, in sicer prve objave. Temu sledi kratka predstavitev samostojne pesniške zbirke Pesmi in odzivi literarnih kritikov na izdajo ter predstavitev prve knjige Izbranih spisov, kjer so Bevkove pesmi še zadnjič izdane. V drugem je sistematičen prikaz vseh pesmi, kjer primerjam Bevkove pesmi iz revije, samostojne zbirke in Izbranih spisov. Tako skušam spremljati razvoj Bevkovega pesništva skozi štiri desetletja. Analiza zajema vsebinsko-stilne ter oblikovne vidike. Pokazalo se je, da so najbolj opazne razlike med verzijami pesmi v reviji Dom in svet ter pesniški zbirki Pesmi, medtem ko modifikacije v Izbranih spisih niso več tako izrazite in so bolj jezikovne oz. stilne narave, ki v večini primerov ne vplivajo na vsebino. Ob vsem tem se postavlja vprašanje, ali je na spremembe morda vplivala (avto)cenzura, ali je imel morda pri spremembah kaj besede urednik spisov, ali pa bi nanje lahko vplivala celo kritika. Na podlagi obstoječega gradiva je na zastavljena vprašanja mogoče samo delno odgovoriti.

Title:BEVK'S POEMS IN PERIODICALS, INDEPENDENT COLLECTION OF POEMS AND SELECTED WRITINGS
Abstract:This diploma researches France Bevk's poetry. The main aim are poems, which were published in periodical Dom in svet between 1910 and 1920 and were published in the collection of poems Pesmi in 1921. In 1950s, Bevk’s poetry was also published in Izbrani spisi (Selected Writings), which also included short prose, written between 1911 and 1927. Comparing different publications (Dom in svet, Pesmi, Izbrani spisi) over the course of thirty years, we notice changes and corrections made in poems. If we take into examination poems from the collection Pesmi, which were before the book publication published in periodical Dom in svet, we can conclude that some poems have been changed not only once but twice: the first version is in periodical, the second in the collection of poems and the third in Izbrani spisi. In the first part I have presented France Bevk as a poet and a writer with a brief summary of his early poetry publications. This is followed by a short presentation of the poetry collection Pesmi and its reviews, later follows the presentation of the first book of Izbrani spisi.In the second part the work focuses on a systematic presentation of poems. In order to present development in Bevk’s poetry, I compared poems from publication Dom in svet, collection Pesmi and Izbrani spisi. The analysis includes content, style and design aspects. Results of the analysis show that the biggest difference exists in publication Dom in svet and collection of poems. Modifications in Izbrani spisi are not so noticeable and are seen only in language structure and style and in most cases do not affect the content. The question which arises is whether these changes are the consequence of the (self) censorship, and whether they were imposed not only by Bevk but also by the editor of Izbrani spisi or are even imposed by the critics. Based on the existent material, the thesis can be only partly confirmed.
