Abstract:Vsako podjetje se srečuje z vprašanjem, kako financirati poslovanje. V delu diplomskega seminarja smo največ pozornosti posvetili MSP, saj so to podjetja, ki so gonilna sila gospodarstva in zaposlujejo največ ljudi. V delu diplomskega seminarja smo preučevali, kako so dostopni različni viri financiranja MSP v Sloveniji in v EU.

Title:COMPARISON OF ACCESS TO FINANCE SOURCES OF SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED ENTERPRISES BETWEEN SLOVENIA AND EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract:Every company is faced with question how to finance their business. In thesis, we focused on SMEs, as these companies are the engine of our economy and employ many people. Companies have a wide variety of financial sources available. Depending on objectives and the ability entrepreneurs decide which source of financing is best suited for a particular period of the life cycle of the company. Thesis is particularly interesting due to the current financial and economic crisis on the financial markets to set new constraints and challenges of SME financing. In thesis, we studied how various sources of financing are available to SMEs in Slovenia and in the EU. Between Slovenia and EU came to some differences in the availability of financial sources, which can be attributed to different economic development of member states, entrepreneurial spirit, state regulation, etc.. Slovenian SMEs have expressed that they have greater difficulty in obtaining finance, than SMEs from EU. This information gives us to know that the corrective measures are necessary in the field of financing of slovenian SMEs, which will help companies realize their goals.
