Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo želeli raziskati vrednote, ki so povezane z vzgojo otrok (odgovornost, samostojnost, postavljanje meja, disciplina, zgled, doslednost, popuščanje, sprejemanje drugačnosti, brezpogojna ljubezen, poslušnost, sporazumevanje). Želeli smo pridobiti mnenje staršev o pomenu teh vrednot pri vzgoji ter mnenje staršev o pomanjkljivih lastnosti pri otrocih in starših v današnji družbi. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo namenili pozornost ključnim vrednotam, ki so povezane z vzgojo. Obravnavali smo vrednote, ki bi jih pri vzgoji morali imeti in upoštevati starši ter vrednote, katere bi otrokom starši naj privzgojili. Omenili smo z zakonom določeno odgovornost staršev, razliko med vzgojo nekoč in danes ter različne vzgojne stile. V empiričnem delu smo raziskali razlike v odgovorih na vprašanja glede uspešne vzgoje. Naš cilj je bil ugotoviti, ali imajo starši različnih starosti, spola, izobrazbe in različnega bivanja enako mnenje glede lastne odgovornosti za uspešno vzgojo. Na splošno smo želeli tudi ugotoviti, kaj je po oceni staršev njihova odgovornost za uspešno vzgojo.

Title:	RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL RAISING
Abstract:	In this thesis we wanted to explore values that are associated with raising children (responsibility, independence, setting boundaries, discipline, goodexample, consistency, and indulgence, acceptance of differences, unconditional love, obedience, and communication). We wanted to get the opinion of parents about the importance of these values in education and parents' opinion about the defective features at the children and also at parents in today's society. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical work. The theoretical work was paid attention to corevalues that are related to education. We have discussed the values, which should have the parents when they raise the children, which they should consider during the educational process and could be imparted to the children. We mentioned the statutory responsibility of parents, the difference between education in the past and present and also different educational styles. In the empirical work we explored the differences in the responses to questions concerning a successful education. Our goal was to determine if the parents with different ages, gender, education and different stay have the same opinion about own responsibility for the successful education. In general, we wanted to find out what is considered by the parents of their responsibility for successful growing.
