Title:PERMANENTNO IZOBRAŽEVANJE VZGOJITELJEV NA PODROČJU KOMUNIKACIJE

Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je bil ugotoviti, koliko in na kakšen način se vzgojitelji skozi svojo poklicno pot izobražujejo na področju komunikacije. Prav tako nas je zanimalo, ali v permanentnem izobraževanju obstajajo razlike med vzgojitelji, ki imajo različno dolgo delovno obdobje na mestu vzgojitelja. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo najprej opisali vrtec in vzgojitelja na njegovem delovnem mestu. Sledi opredelitev pojma komunikacije kot bistvene sestavine človekovega obstoja, vrst komunikacije in komunikacijskih spretnosti vzgojiteljev. Nato pa smo opredelili profesionalni razvoj vzgojitelja in dejavnike, ki vplivajo nanj. Sledijo opredelitev permanentnega izobraževanja in cilji, strokovno izpopolnjevanje, nadaljnje izobraževanje in usposabljanje ter programi, možnosti napredovanja v nazive, profesionalni razvoj vzgojitelja in dejavniki, ki vplivajo nanj. V empiričnem delu naloge smo obdelali in analizirali podatke, ki smo jih pridobili na osnovi vprašalnika za vzgojitelje. Namen vprašalnika, ki je bil izdelan v skladu s cilji raziskave, je bil ugotoviti, koliko se vzgojitelji izobražujejo na področju komunikacije. Razdeljen je bil med vzgojitelje naslednjih vrtcev in njihovih enot: vrtec Podčetrtek, vrtec Pikapolonica Bistrica ob Sotli, vrtec Zmajček Kozje, vrtec Šmarje pri Jelšah in vrtec Rogaška Slatina. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 43 vzgojiteljev. Ugotovili smo, da se vsi vprašani vzgojitelji na področju komunikacije permanentno izobražujejo na različne načine in da obstajajo razlike med vzgojitelji v izobraževanju, ki imajo različno dolgo delovno obdobje.

Title:CONTINUING EDUCATION OF CHILDCARE WORKERS IN THE FIELD OF COMMUNICATION
Abstract:The purpose of the diploma thesis was to ascertain the scope and ways in which childcare workers educate themselves in the field of communication throughout their careers. We were also interested in finding out whether there are differences with regard to continuing education among childcare workers from the aspect of different lengths of time in their position of employment. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the description of kindergartens and childcare workers in their jobs. This is followed by the definition of the term communication as an essential component in human existence, along with types of communication and the communication skills which childcare workers must possess. In addition, we defined the professional development of childcare workers as well as factors influencing it. Next, we defined continuing education and its objectives, advanced professional training, further education and training as well as programmes, possibilities of advancement and obtaining of titles, professional development of childcare workers and factors influencing it. In the empirical part of the thesis, we processed and analysed the data obtained through the questionnaire filled out by childcare workers. The purpose of the questionnaire, which was drawn up in line with the objectives of our research, was to ascertain to what extent do childcare workers educate themselves in communication. The questionnaire was distributed among the childcare workers employed at the following kindergartens and their units: the Podčetrtek, Pikapolonica Bistrica ob Sotli, Zmajček Kozje, Šmarje pri Jelšah and the Rogaška Slatina kindergartens. Forty-three childcare workers participated in the research. We found out that all childcare workers participating in the survey undergo continuing education in the field of communication. Their education takes place in different ways and there are some differences with regard to education among childcare workers in terms of their years of employment.
