Abstract:V diplomskem delu opisujemo potek in nadzor estrenja organske spojine v laboratorijskem merilu. Konverzijo smo spremljali z »in situ« FTIR metodo. Na osnovi dobljenih podatkov smo izdelali model, s katerim smo določili točko, v kateri prekinemo reakcijo in nadaljujemo s procesom. Točko odločitve o nadaljevanju procesa smo potrdili s HPLC analizami v analitskem laboratoriju. Omenjeni eksperimenti so dobra osnova za izvedbo prenosa »in situ« FTIR tehnologije na industrijski nivo, kar bi pomenilo optimizacijo obstoječega procesa.

Title:PROCESS CONTROL BY MONITORING THE PROGRESS OF CHEMICAL REACTION BY FTIR IN SITU TECHNOLOGY
Abstract:The thesis describes the progress and control of the esterification of an organic compound at the laboratory scale. This chemical reaction was monitored using in situ FTIR technology. Based on data obtained, we developed a model by which it is possible to determine the point where the reaction should be terminated, and followed by another process operation. The termination point was confirmed by HPLC analysis in the analytical laboratory. The experiments provided a good basis for transfering of the “in situ” FTIR technology to the industrial scale, which would enable the optimization of the existing process.
Keywords:FTIR, esterification, “in situ” measurement, “One-Pot” synthesis, validation of cleaning processes
