Title:VPLIV RAZVEZE NA ŠOLSKO USPEŠNOST OTROK

Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo z deskriptivno metodo predstavili različne definicije razveze, ločitve zakoncev, v eksperimentalnem delu pa smo raziskali vpliv razveze na otroka ter vpliv razveze na šolsko uspešnost otrok. Osredotočili smo se na otrokovo doživljanje razveze in njegovo odzivanje na razvezo staršev v času njegovega osnovnošolskega oziroma srednješolskega izobraževanja, in sicer glede na spol ter kakšne posledice prinaša razveza za otroka. Pri dejavnikih učne uspešnosti smo se osredotočili na vpetost staršev v otrokovo izobraževanje po razvezi ter na spremembo vedenja in uspeha učenca po razvezi staršev. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika anketirali razrednike v osnovnih in srednjih šolah. Zanimale so nas spremembe otrokovega uspeha, obnašanja in vpetosti staršev v izobraževanje po razvezi zakona. Ugotovili smo, da razveza vpliva na šolsko uspešnost otrok ter da v šolskem prostoru pomembno vlogo odigrajo razredniki, ki lahko v veliki meri učencu olajšajo prehoditi pot od nesprejetja s posledicami razveze do razumevanja razveze kot edinega možnega načina in da je to stvar staršev, da krivda ni na njihovi strani.

Title:THE IMPACT OF DIVORCE ON SCHOOL PERFORMANCE OF CHILDREN
Abstract:In the thesis, we present the descriptive method of different definitions of divorce, separation, divorce affects on child, and the impact of divorce on children and their school performance. We focuse on the child's experience of divorce, his response in primary and secondary education and his gender. Moreover, we also shed light on the consequences of divorce with regard to a child. When it comes to academic achievements and their factors, we focuse on the parents' involvement in their children's education, their change in behavior and success after a divorce. In the empirical part, we have surveyed class teachers in primary and secondary schools in order to measure the change in the child's success, behavior and involvement of parents in education after the divorce. The results show that the divorce affects children's success in school, and that the school environment plays an important role. Class teachers can significantly mild the unpleasant domestic situations by making children realize and understand that the divorce is sometimes the only possible way and best option. Finally, they can also make them see that the divorce is not a child's fault nor his or her matter.
