| Abstract: | In the past, in the area of municipality Hoče-Slivnica, the most developed activity was agriculture. Nowadays, new activities, including tourism, are being brought to the fore. Tourism promotes regional development and increases the value of natural and cultural heritage. For the development of tourism, the construction of the apartment settlement Bolfenk was very important, because it has, besides numerous cottages, holiday houses and youth hostels, provided additional lodging capacities.
This diploma paper presents the development of tourism in the municipality Hoče-Slivnica. There is a lot of natural and cultural heritage that adorns the municipality and attracts the tourists. Numerous forest paths on Pohorje enable relaxation in nature and active holidays. After all, the main road to the ski centres Bellevue and Areh leads through the municipality Hoče-Slivnica. I presented all important tourist natural and cultural sights, tourism features, societies’ activities, and events. By analysing statistical data, I overviewed the tourism turnover in the municipality. Besides that, the questionnaire presents findings about the motives and contentment of tourist visitors of the apartment settlement Bolfenk on Pohorje. |
