Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava tematiko elektronsko podprte komunikacije v zdravstvu.

Title:Electronically supported communication in health care
Abstract:The diploma deals with online communication in healthcare. The »eHealth« project is presented as well. The survey involved 14 randomly chosen individuals and 10 employees (3 nurses and 7 medical technicians), so 24 altogether. The objective of the research was to investigate the relationship between searching for health information online versus offline, i.e. by posing questions to their nurse or a doctor. Moreover, the research wanted to discover to what extent the health information seekers trust their sources, especially the internet. The results of the research show that despite the fact that the internet has gained popularity when seeking health information, a lot of people still search elsewhere for they doubt the quality of the information gained on the internet. Moreover, trusting the source proved as another problem. From the survey, it is evident that the use of the World Wide Web to search for health information frequently, but despite this, respondents give priority to other modes of inquiry of health information.
