Abstract:	Diplomska naloga opisuje posttravmatsko stresno motnjo v povezavi s pričanjem. Najprej smo predstavili ugotovitve s področja verodostojnosti pričanja in dejavnike, ki vplivajo na verodostojnost pričanja. Ugotovili smo, da na verodostojnost pričanja vplivajo številni dejavniki, na katere morajo biti preiskovalci in sodniki pozorni, če ţelijo dobijo verodostojne informacije, ki jim kasneje pomagajo pri razrešitvi kaznivega dejanja. V diplomski nalogi smo opisali splošne značilnosti stresa in posttravmatskega stresa ter kakšne posledice imata na pričanje oseb v kazenskih postopkih. Pri tem smo izpostavili vrsto dejavnikov, ki jih pri priči s posttravmatsko stresno motnjo ne smemo prezreti. Priče s to motnjo so ranljive, zato zahtevajo posebno pozornost in previdnost. Vzrok, da se priča sooča s posttravmatsko stresno motnjo, so travmatični dogodki, ki jih je priča bodisi doţivela sama ali pa je prisostvovala takšnemu dogodku. Pomembno je, da informacije takšnih prič preiskovalci pridobijo z veliko mero previdnosti, saj je takšna priča ranljiva, ne smemo pa prezreti tudi dejstva, da so izjave takšnih prič morda nepopolne, zato takšna priča od preiskovalca zahteva ustrezno znanje na področju psihologije stresa. Diplomska naloga predstavlja tudi sodelovanje sodnega izvedenca psihološke stroke v primerih ocenjevanja veljavnosti pričanja oseb s posttravmatsko stresno motnjo.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis describes a post-traumatic stress disorder with regard to testimonies. Firstly, we present findings in the field of the credibility of witnesses and factors which affect their credibility. We found out that many factors influence the credibility of the witness that must be carefully taken into consideration especially by investigators, as well as judges, in order to obtain reliable information which further on helps them solve the crime. In the diploma thesis, we described general characteristics of stress and post-traumatic stress, as well as the consequences they have on the testimony of persons in criminal proceedings. In doing so, we found out numerous factors which should not be ignored when it comes to the witness with a post-traumatic stress disorder. Witnesses with this disorder are vulnerable; therefore they need special attention and care. The reasons for witness to suffer the post-traumatic stress disorder are traumatic events they experienced themselves or have witnessed such events. It is important that investigators obtain information from such witnesses with the utmost caution, because they are vulnerable. In addition, we should not ignore the fact that the statements of such witnesses are imperfect, thus, when dealing with this kind of witnesses, the investigator is required to have adequate knowledge in the field of the psychology of stress. The thesis presents the participation of an forensic psychologist, in the case of the assessment of validity of the testimony of people with post-traumatic stress disorder.
